“We have happily hired colorTHEORY twice inthe past year.
The first time was to hang our Osborne & Little wallpaper in the master bedroom. They worked quickly, cleanly, and efficiently. The finished result looks fantastic.
After that project, we turned over our entire place to Brad for a complete paint make-over. Brad designed a complicated interlocking stripe pattern for the entrance way using three colors of paint that he then incorporated throughout the apartment. We live in a loft building, and Brad used paint in surprising ways to accentuate the unique structural characteristics of our place. He fearlessly painted columns and celing tretaments, and with great joy, we watched our place spring to life.
We have hand painted birch trees along the walls of a newborn nursery. The trees are stunning and have an urban-camoflauge feel. Brad also interspersed hand-painted orange birds on the branches, symbolizing the 5 family memebers. You have to see it to believe it!
All told, colorTHEORY repainted our entire loft space in just under 2 weeks. They moved and replaced furniture and wall hangings as needed and kept the place extremely tidy after each day of work. The project even finished ahead of schedule, and along the way several neighbors stopped us to comment how courteous and professional the colorTHEORY team was to everyone they came into contact with in the building.

I have used colorTHEORY for both my home and my business and have never been disappointed. In my home, Brad did a color consult with me to work out the perfect balance with my Graham & Brown wallpaper. colorTHEORY transformed my condo into a home and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to paint and style their home. After using them for my home, I had them come to my store, Flock, in the South End to wallpaper the back area. I wanted to have a part of my store feel warm and personal without distracting from the merchandise. We decided to wallpaper the bathroom and office area. “We hired colorTHEORY for painting and interior design work. Brad met with us for a consultation and walk through and then a second time to pick out colors and wallpaper. Brad has a sixth sense for creative design. All of his color suggestions, themes and design ideas blew us away. What impressed us even more was the way in which colorTHEORY delivered on their ideas. “From our initial session with Brad, to the completion of the job we were extremely pleased. Our goal was to do something different with the repainting of our 1860s South End bow front condominium. Brad chose colors that tied in together all of our cherished paintings, ceramics and furniture in the home. And just like they informed us, everything would "pop" and they were right! Their ideas were terrific, unexpected colors on the walls and the ceilings (who would have thought of that!) but true to the classic lines of our home. They even came up with an Art Deco theme in the hallway which is now painted in merlot red, black & white, and just has to be seen to be truly appreciated. Brad suggested us to move a picture from our bedroom to the hallway, which now looks like it was made for the space. Brad and his team were on time everyday and did not disturb our routine. As we returned home from work, everything was put away. They just couldn't have been more professional. I forgot to mention that we thought we were just hiring colorTHEORY for a color consultation but when they submitted a bid it was surprisingly affordable so we hired them right away. Last few comments: they have ideas galore and they know how to find out what you like and they are willing to push the client to try something new. We have a wallpapered wall behind our bed with big bold flowers in turquoise with the ceiling painted in the same color. Truly spectacular and just right, despite my skepticism. Anyway you should hire these guys they are far more than painters. They're honorable and very attentive to detail (not even minor defects), They are interesting guys and fun to work with.
